For over 15 years, the Orange County and Rockland County Out of the Darkness Walks have been a source of connection, healing, and hope. This year, we’re joining as one, uniting our communities for an even more significant impact at Palisades Center.

Why the Move?

• More Visibility – With thousands of visitors daily, Palisades Center gives us the opportunity to reach more people, raise awareness, and bring suicide prevention into everyday conversations.
• Easier Access – Conveniently located for Orange and Rockland residents, with plenty of parking and accessibility for walkers of all ages and abilities.
• Weather-Proof Experience – Rain or shine, we’ll walk together in a safe and comfortable environment.
• Stronger Community Connections – By hosting our walk at Palisades Center, we’re creating new opportunities to engage local businesses and build partnerships that strengthen our mission.

While the location has changed, our purpose remains to honor loved ones lost, support those who struggle, and walk together toward a future of hope.
