Paws For Prevention

Grab a leash and your Pup and join us  in Supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Join hundreds of thousands of people across the country who are supporting the Out of the Darkness Community Walks to prevent suicide and support AFSP's mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. 

 The Long Island Walk at Jones Beach does not allow dogs, so we've created a team and a walk just for pups!  We hope you and your pup can join our Paws for Prevention Team! 

All proceeds will benefit the Out of the Darkness Walk. 

Where:  Belmont Lake State Park

Date:  September 14, 2025

Time: 10:00 am -12:00 pm  Registration/check in opens at 9:00 am
